The CCCX race series has always been a fun one. Firmly planted as one of the best Santa Cruz race series it often sees fierce battles between the cyclocross elite as they tune their bodies for other National and World events. And so, on a typical California winter day (70 degrees and sunny, with only slightly overcast skies), it was here that the Santa Cruz elite would duel for the final bit of prestige before a well deserved holiday break.
